This year, Summer fun for Special Kids will be held:
July 18-29
Monday-Friday
9:30-2:30
Beacon School
Children 6 and up with IEP (Individual Education Plan) living in Athens and surrounding counties are eligible. Tuition for the two week camp is $200.00. Tuition discount/scholarship may be available for qualifying families.
This is a fun, structured summer camp! Children will be placed in
groups based upon age. Group activities will include:
• Swimming
• Music
• Crafts
• Gym play
A certified, experienced special education teacher will lead the camp. Experienced aides will
assist the lead teacher. Supervision ratio will be one adult to every two to three children.
